The award of the Green Seal formalises the company's headquarters in Carnaxide as a space prepared to welcome pets.
Wellow was honoured by the Oeiras City Council with the “Animal Friendly Space” Green Seal, a recognition that officialises the company's headquarters in Carnaxide as a space where pets are allowed to enter and stay.
The award of this seal formalises a practice that is already present on a daily basis at Wellow's headquarters, where the presence of pets is part of the company's culture. At the same time, it reinforces the brand's commitment to a more welcoming, humane and inclusive working environment, designed for the well-being of employees, visitors and their animals.
With this distinction, Wellow joins the network of partners of the Municipality of Oeiras, joining a community that values inclusion, social responsibility and animal welfare.
According to Nuno Neto, Councillor for Animal Welfare at Oeiras City Council, “the Espaço Amigo Animal municipal project is a fundamental initiative for building a more inclusive and modern municipality, recognising the increasingly important role of companion animals in the lives of families. By creating and expanding a network of pet-friendly spaces, Oeiras promotes harmonious coexistence between people, animals and public services, reinforcing animal welfare, the responsibility of guardians and the humanisation of services.” He adds that “the award of the Animal Friendly Space Green Seal identifies and values spaces - municipal or commercial - that welcome pets in appropriate conditions of safety, hygiene and comfort.”
For Wellow Network, this recognition represents another step towards building a more humane, responsible and close working environment for everyone, reflecting the conviction that small gestures can make a difference in everyday life and contribute to a more empathetic and welcoming organisational culture.
