Wellow reinforces its commitment to health and safety at work with ISO 45001 certification
The Wellow Network has strengthened its Integrated Management System with ISO 45001 certification – Occupational Health and Safety Management System – awarded by APCER to Wellow Shared Services and to the Knower.
This certification complements the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards and represents a further step towards consolidating an integrated management model based on quality, sustainability, risk prevention and the protection of people.
Throughout this process, we have strengthened the alignment of methodologies, responsibilities and monitoring mechanisms across the organisation’s various departments, encouraging greater employee involvement in matters relating to health and safety at work.
For the Knower, as a company specialising in outsourcing and responsible for managing operations and business processes for clients across a range of sectors, this certification is particularly significant. ISO 45001 reinforces our ability to ensure high standards of safety, compliance and quality in a variety of working environments.
“Achieving ISO 45001 certification represents much more than simply complying with an international standard. It is recognition of our consistent efforts to integrate Occupational Health and Safety into the organisation’s day-to-day management and demonstrates Wellow’s commitment to continuous improvement, prevention and people’s wellbeing,” says Sónia Marques, Director of Innovation and Quality at Wellow Network.
With this certification, we remain committed to increasingly robust, sustainable and people-centred management models, contributing to safer working environments, more resilient organisations and more efficient operations.
