Wellow Network acquires 100% from A Temporária and strengthens Talenter’s commitment to the agri-food sector

The acquisition adds around 12 million euros in turnover to the Talenter, brings together 650 temporary workers and strengthens its expertise and presence in the agri-food sector. Through this operation, the Talenter paves the way for the company to achieve a turnover of 100 million euros as early as 2026.

Wellow Network has acquired a 100% stake in A Temporária, a temporary employment agency with a turnover of around 12 million euros and a significant presence in the agri-food and contract catering sectors, amongst others.
The operation forms part of Wellow Network’s growth and diversification strategy and represents a significant strengthening of the company’s Talenter, a brand that focuses on the business of Human Resources of the group. Following the acquisition, the Talenter It will increase its turnover by around 13% compared with 2025 and pave the way for it to reach the €100 million turnover milestone in 2026.

Strategic Strengthening of the Agri-Food Sector

The acquisition is particularly significant in light of the recent commitment by the Talenter in the agri-food sector, where a specialised business unit has been set up to meet the specific needs of companies and professionals in this field.
The integration of A Temporária will help to accelerate this strategy by bringing in new clients, professionals, specialist knowledge and a local presence. The operation integrates into the Talenter an in-house team of 10 professionals and around 650 temporary staff, serving a client base of approximately 60 clients, with projects located mainly in the Central and Northern regions of the country.
The A Temporária branch in Caldas da Rainha is also joining Talenter’s national network, which now comprises 17 delegations, spread from north to south across the country, including Madeira and the Azores.
“This acquisition is particularly important for two reasons. Firstly, it enables us to accelerate Talenter’s entry into the agri-food sector, a business area we have identified as strategic and in which we wish to establish a significant position. Secondly, it adds expertise and scale, creating the conditions for Talenter to reach €100 million in turnover this year and for Wellow Network to reach €250 million in turnover by 2030,” he says Cesar Santos, CEO & Chairman of Wellow Network.

Growing through Skills and Scale

The acquisition of A Temporária is part of Wellow Network’s active M&A strategy, through which the group aims to accelerate growth, achieve economies of scale and bring in expertise in areas considered strategic.
Following the acquisition of the Constant Portugal Group, this is a new transaction identified by Wellow Network as an opportunity to complement and strengthen its business.
“We look at many companies but acquire few. We only go ahead when we understand the business and when the team has a proven track record. This was the case with A Temporária. The position it holds today in the agri-food sector and the presence it has built up in other sectors are down to its team. We buy to keep. Closing the deal is the start of the work, not the end: what matters to us is what we’re going to build from here on, bringing this team and this expertise to the group’s scale,” he says Diogo Santos, Chief Investment Officer at Wellow Network.
The integration of the team into the structure of the Wellow Network and the Talenter It will begin in September, as part of a gradual process of aligning operations and identifying synergies, whilst ensuring the continuity of relationships with customers, staff and partners.

A More Specialised Talenter

The operation comes at a time of transformation for Talenter. With 27 years in business, the company has been diversifying its sectoral presence and strengthening its teams’ expertise through Business Units specialising in Services, Logistics, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Construction and the Agri-food sector.
At the same time, it has been expanding its value proposition beyond temporary work by strengthening its specialist recruitment services, which target qualified candidates and permanent job opportunities, and by Talenter Learning, dedicated to vocational training and skills development.

With this acquisition, Wellow Network is continuing its strategy of growth, diversification and strengthening its capabilities, whilst the Talenter It is expanding its presence in a strategic area and taking another step towards its ambition of achieving a turnover of 100 million euros by 2026.
