THE CHALLENGE
Integrated Within the People & Culture Department, you will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in the administrative management of Human Resources, guaranteeing high standards of accuracy, legal compliance and service quality.
WHAT YOU'RE GOING TO DO
- Payroll Processing
- Prepare and carry out payroll processing for staff working for one or more of the Group’s brands;
- To ensure the correct processing of salaries, absences, annual leave, allowances and other payroll-related matters;
- To ensure compliance with social security, tax and employment obligations relating to payroll processing (including DR – Social Security);
- To ensure that the required declarations and schedules are drawn up and submitted to the relevant authorities;
- To provide employees with clarification on matters relating to payroll processing and administrative procedures;
- Monitor legislative changes that affect payroll processing, ensuring they are correctly implemented;
- To contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes, promoting efficiency, accuracy and compliance.
- Administrative Management of Human Resources
- Manage the onboarding processes for new staff, ensuring compliance with all legal and administrative requirements;
- Draft and monitor employment contracts, addenda and other employment-related documentation;
- Manage contract termination processes, including the preparation of the relevant documentation and compliance with the applicable legal obligations;
- Ensure that employees’ individual files are kept up to date and maintained;
- Manage wage garnishment procedures and other legal obligations relating to employees;
- Manage professional work placement programmes and recruitment support measures, from the application stage through to the completion of the projects;
- To ensure that official maps and other mandatory reports are drawn up and submitted within the statutory deadlines, including the Single Report;
- To ensure that enquiries and requests for statistical information from official bodies are dealt with.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- A degree in Human Resources Management, Management, Psychology or a related field;
- At least 4 years’ experience in Human Resources roles;
- Proven experience in payroll processing and administrative management of human resources;
- A sound knowledge of Portuguese labour law;
- Knowledge of social security, employment taxation and reporting obligations;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Excel;
- Experience in using Human Resources management systems (knowledge of PHC would be an advantage);
- A strong sense of responsibility, rigour and confidentiality.
